Mandarin House has been a Pocatello favorite for over 40 years! Since first opening its doors in 1980, Mandarin House has been known for its authentic Chinese cuisine, fast and efficient service, and family friendly atmosphere. Our restaurant also has the largest banquet/meeting room in the area, available for anyone to reserve for birthdays, holidays, graduation celebrations, business meetings, etc.

In addition, Mandarin House has also been recognized locally and nationally, with numerous awards such as:

• US China News Magazine’s “top 100 Regional and Specialty Cuisines”.
• Chinese Restaurant Magazine’s “Top 100 Signature Dishes” in 2008 & 2009.
• Chinese Restaurant Magazine’s “Top 100 Best Decor” in 2008.
• Mystery dining gives Mandarin House a 92.6 rating.
• Mandarin House was inducted into the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the USA in 2009.
• Mandarin House was awarded the “Most Creative” award in the Pocatello Christmas light parade in 2019.
• Mandarin House is the only restaurant to have been awarded the “Best of Pocatello” two years in a row in 2020 & 2021.
• Mandarin House was also the only recipient of the 2022 & 2023 Statewide Winner & The Best of Eastern Idaho Awards.
• As of 2023, Mandarin House’s self made float remains the 1st place winner of Idaho State University’s Homecoming parade for the past 8 years.
• As of 2023, Mandarin House remains “The Best Asian Restaurant” for the past 14 years voted by the ISJ Reader’s Choice readers.
• As of 2023, Mandarin House remains The best holiday decorations business in town.
